… a little about us

Bel Canto is a ladies’ choir based in Baslow, Derbyshire with around 20 members in our main choir, as well as a smaller chamber choir. We sing a varied repertoire of beautiful choral music, from classical and sacred pieces to modern choral works, musical numbers, American songbook and jazz. Most importantly, we have a wonderful time singing and training to a high level.

Formed in 2010, we regularly perform at venues across Derbyshire including St. Anne’s Church, where we rehearse, as well as singing for private events and weddings.

Central to our calendar is the Candlelit Service of Nine Lessons & Carols and the Easter Day Choral Communion Service at St. Anne’s, in which Bel Canto is a key part of the choral programme.
