An evening of sumptuous choral music inspired by the melodies and images of the East
Music by Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin, Fauré, Delibes and including the exquisite but rarely performed ‘Rig Veda’ suite by Gustav Holst, Bob Chilcott’s ‘Furusato Suite’ and selections from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s much-loved musical, ‘The King & I’.

We are delighted that Nicola is able to join us again this year, being very much in demand with many of the UK’s finest choirs and orchestras. After training at the Junior RAM, Chetham’s School of Music and the RNCM, she today enjoys a busy career as a soloist performing in venues such as The Sage, the Wigmore Hall and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, as well as locally at venues in Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and Kedleston Hall. She also leads a number of choirs herself and is an expert vocal coach.
